Our Approach 

 

Our approach focuses on empowering women and girls by providing them with the essential information, resources and supportive networks they need to take control of their safety and security. We believe that collaboration is key to success, and we work closely with government bodies, civil society organizations and community leaders to tackle safety challenges in a comprehensive manner. Our strategy emphasizes proactive prevention, education, awareness and capacity-building initiatives aimed at reducing risks and vulnerabilities, all while respecting and promoting the rights and dignity of women and girls.

 

 

Our Interventions

 

We work to create safe environments for women by taking a comprehensive approach with the help of various partners. One of our key actions is raising awareness and sensitizing local government bodies, such as Gram Panchayats, to understand and address safety concerns. Our efforts extend to prevent gender-based violence by educating communities and promoting respectful behaviour. We also focus on ensuring that women have access to justice, providing the support they need to navigate legal systems and get the help they deserve. Protecting children from harm is another vital area of our work, as we aim to create safe spaces where they can thrive without fear. In addition, we are committed to improving safety in public spaces, making sure women can move around freely and confidently. We also work on preparing communities for emergencies, ensuring that women and girls are protected and have access to resources when disasters strike. Through these combined efforts, we aim to foster a society where women and girls can live in safety and dignity.
