With a vision for a financially self-sustaining organization, she aims to provide vital support to women experiencing violence. Twinkle ben is inspired by the changes she sees: stronger connections between underprivileged communities and government resources, increased participation of women and a growing awareness that challenges patriarchal structures.

Dhaniben Mansukhbhai Gujria

President & Judiciary Committee Member

Dhaniben is the President of Shakti Mahila Sangathan, where she works to create positive change in women’s lives. She believes in using feminist ideas to influence government policies and challenge patriarchal norms. Her dream is to make the sangathan financially independent, have its own office and provide training programs to help women become more aware and self-reliant. Dhaniben is dedicated to uplifting women from all backgrounds and castes, building a future of equality and empowerment.

Dipaliben Vishalbhai Chauhan

Paralegal Worker, Nyay Samiti

Dipaliben joined Shakti Mahila Samarthan’s Nyay Samiti with a clear mission: to gain personal independence, support her daughters and contribute to a broader movement for women’s rights. Driven by her belief that "knowledge is power. She actively addresses issues like addiction, advocates for widows’ independence and works to shift societal mindsets to dismantle patriarchal structures. Her dream is to see more women join this essential work and raise awareness of violence prevention and empowering women and girls to understand and assert their rights.

Labhuben Chothabhai Jadav

Executive Member

Labhuben  is an Executive Member of the sangathan, dedicated to building a safer and more supportive society for women. Inspired by her vision of a violence-free community, she joined the organization to guide other women and raise awareness about key social issues. Labhuben firmly believes that strengthening local panchayats and fostering a drug-free environment are essential steps toward creating lasting change.

Sakina ben Bhawanbhai Makwana

Executive Member, Financial Committee Member

Sakinaben joined the sangathan to tackle the challenges in her community, such as alcohol abuse, family conflicts, financial hardships and children leaving school to work. As an Executive Member and Financial Committee Member, she encourages men and women to stand up and take action. Sakina ben dreams of the sangathan being present in every village of Mahuva Taluka, having its own office and empowering women to actively participate in household decisions and engage with government systems.

Amina ben Alibhai Sama

Executive Member

Amina ben joined the sangathan to help Muslim women step outside traditional restrictions and find their voices. As an Executive Member, she is committed to encouraging other women in her community to come forward and adapt change. Amina ben dreams of seeing over 1,000 women join the sangathan and raise their voices against violence. She believes that real transformation occurs when women actively participate in village meetings, caste and religious distinctions are removed, and there is greater integration of women into government bodies.

Jayaben Narsinghbhai Parmar

Executive Member

Jayaben is an Executive Member of the sangathan who stepped forward to guide other women and strengthen the organization. She dreams of a future where every woman is free from violence, stands strong and raises her voice for justice. Jayaben believes that empowering local panchayats and increasing women’s participation in them will bring meaningful change to society.

Dayaben Pareshbhai Jolia

Executive member, Vice President, Krishi Sakhi

Dayaben is the Executive member as well as Vice President of Shakti Mahila Sangathan and a Krishi Sakhi. She joined the organization to expand her knowledge and raise awareness among other women. Dayaben dreams of growing the organization from 3,000 to 10,000 women in the next five years. She believes that meaningful change will happen when addiction is stopped, migration is reduced and child marriage is prevented.

Rekhaben Haridas Parmar

Executive Member

Rekhaben is an Executive Member of the sangathan. She joined the sangathan with the passion for personal growth and the ability to support and uplift other women. She envisions the organization becoming well-known by establishing a strong identity at the district level. Rekhaben believes that real change will occur when government structures and panchayats are more aware and addiction issues are addressed.

Nasimben Muhammadbhai Payak

Women's Land Ownership Committee Member

Nasim ben is a member of the Women's Land Ownership Committee. She joined the sangathan after facing discrimination and a lack of respect while working in a factory. Inspired by the women she met in the sangathan, she left her job and became a paralegal worker. Nasim ben dreams of empowering girls in 40 villages of Mahuwa Taluka to receive equal rights and recognition as women farmers. She believes change can happen when local livelihoods are created to reduce migration, when women have equal rights to land, property, resources and when there is increased sensitivity within structures.

Megha Natubhai Nimavat

Executive Member

Megha ben is an Executive Member of the sangathan. She joined to help make the organization stronger and last longer. Megha ben dreams to have more than 10,000 female members in the next five years with that the sangathan having its own office, funds and being known as an important organization for women in Gujarat. Megha ben believes that change will happen when there are more local jobs to stop migration, when inequality in the society is removed and when government organizations are aware of the problems caused by addiction and violence.
